B-25H MITCHELL 1/65
Scale: 1/65 | Wingspan: 12.5 inches | Length: 10 inches
The B-25H was made right after the B-25 Mitchell has proven itself not only as a successful bomber, but also as a low-level attack aircraft. In fact, the variant (also known as Barbie III) had been the attack aircraft of choice from the South Pacific to the Mediterranean war zones. Among its notable features are the four fixed forward-firing machine guns on the nose, another four in forward-firing cheek blisters, two in the dorsal turret and one each on pair waist positions. The Mitchell B-25H also took great pride in being able to bear a 75mm cannon, 3,000 lb of bomb, a brace of eight rockets, as well as 10 machine guns. Though the last B-25H was delivered in July 1944, it was among the 40 Mitchells that are still airworthy up to these days. The B-25H Mitchell had been a huge part of history.
